About ...

In 1987 was my first introduction to Omnis, called Omnis Quartz, when I was looking for a data base system for Windows 2.x. At that time, Omnis was the only available RAD tool for Windows.

1995 THE OMNIS L/\B was founded, together with Ute Bevier. She joined our team when we needed an additional developer to convert our application to Omnis 7.3.x. There were several reasons why we put up this web site, the main one was my discovery of 'format drifting', a technique of changing the format type that enabled a wide range of new terrific possibilities, among them format variables for report formats.

1999 I was honored by Omnis Software at the Geek Week in Denver, CO as Omnis Fellow, together with Kelly Burgess and Leon Venter

Today, we are developing in Omnis Studio 3.x and Omnis Classic on various projects

Besides Omnis, I have still some other interests ;-) ... (hard to believe, eh ?)
